With a force of their own.

They flow unexpected, exposing true feelings and hiding old truths.  Words diverting my attention, diluting the humdrum generated by actions necessary but unwanted.

Merciful, at times to the point of cruelty, like pagan gods.

Unfiltered.  Unapologetic.  Random.  Accurate.

Bouncing off invisible armors, chipping and cracking and transforming the world around us.

Pointless eruditions that empty our receptacles of information, only to reveal our fear of silence.
